General information
I treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Some of your data is collected because you provide it to me, for example by email or via the contact form. Other data is recorded automatically by the IT system when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data such as your internet browser, operating system or the time at which you accessed the page.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address, in order to deliver the site and protect it against attacks.
Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely, quickly and reliably.
Server log files
When you access the website, information is automatically recorded in so-called server log files:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contacting me
If you send me an enquiry via the contact form, by email or by phone, I will store the information you provide, including your contact details, in order to process the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. I will not pass on this data without your consent.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry relates to the initiation or provision of counselling, and otherwise your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Insofar as you share health data with me, I process it on the basis of your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR. I recommend that you share detailed information about your health in a personal conversation instead.
Messages sent via the contact form are transmitted to the website in encrypted form and sent from there as an email to my practice mailbox. They are not stored on the website itself.
My mailbox is provided by Google (Google Workspace, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Emails and messages from the contact form are stored there. A data processing agreement is in place with Google. Google may also transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR).
I will delete your enquiry as soon as it has been fully dealt with, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent this.
Cookies and consent
On your first visit, I ask whether I may record your visit for statistical purposes using Google Analytics. As long as you do not consent, no cookies are set and no data is transferred to Google.
Your decision is saved in your browser’s local storage so that the question does not appear every time you open a page. This storage is technically necessary (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
Visitor statistics with Google Analytics
If you consent, I use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). This allows me to see which pages are accessed and how often, how visitors reach the website and which devices they use. This helps me to improve the website. I only receive aggregated reports and cannot tell from them who visited the website.
The data processed includes, in particular, the pages accessed, the date, time and duration of the visit, the page you came from, device type, browser, operating system and screen size, as well as your approximate location (country, region, city). Google derives your location from your IP address. According to Google, the IP address itself is not stored in Google Analytics 4. For this purpose, Google Analytics sets the cookies “_ga” and “_ga_…”, which remain stored for up to two years unless you delete them beforehand or withdraw your consent.
Google signals and the use of the data for advertising purposes are deactivated. The data is deleted in Google Analytics after two months. A data processing agreement is in place with Google.
Google may also transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Such transfers are therefore covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. This also deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

Fonts and external content
The fonts used on this website are hosted locally. No connection to Google or other font providers is established for the fonts. No maps, videos or social media content are embedded.
Links to external sites, for example for route planning or to my reviews on Google, only open the respective provider’s site when you click on them. Only then do that provider’s data protection provisions apply.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar begins with “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar.
Your rights
Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:
- obtain information about your stored personal data free of charge (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have inaccurate data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR),
- have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR) and its processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
In the event of breaches of data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent authority for Saxony is:
